Maths Muncher FAQ’s
Maths Muncher contains all outcomes of the prescribed curriculum since January 2015.
Maths Muncher captures the results of each exercise. Report cards for learners, classes and grades clearly indicate where improvements are required. These reports and results are available to mathematics teachers, advisors, school principals, heads of departments, governing bodies, as well as each learner and teacher via the Internet.

These reports and results are available to mathematics teachers, advisors, school principals, heads of departments, governing bodies, as well as each learner and teacher via the Internet.
The results for the exercises that have been completed during a specific day, can be used to identify learners that require assistance with a specific concept that has been addressed.
Maths Muncher can be applied in the following ways to the advantage of the mathematics teacher:
- The exercises completed in the class can be performed in the computer centre directly afterwards. The results will then serve as an indicator for progress, re-training of the concept or whether learners need more attention;
- The curriculum can be covered systematically from beginning to end;
- The system can be used as a platform for testing;
- The system can be used for re-training;
- Specific exercises can be prepared for the specific needs of a learner, class or grade to address specific problem areas.
At least one mathematics teacher, or a teacher that can be trained to facilitate Maths Muncher in co-operation with the mathematics teacher. It might be necessary for the mathematics teacher visit the computer centre with the class.
